During her high school years, Tigist's artistic spirit came alive as she sketched dresses in her notebook. The allure of turning these sketches into tangible garments ignited a fervent desire within her. However, upon entering university, she pursued civil engineering and successfully earned her bachelor's degree from Addis Ababa University.

Yet, after graduation, Tigist revisited her childhood passion with unwavering determination. Devoting a year to honing her craft, she embarked on a personal journey of self-education in the world of fashion design. To further enhance her skills, Tigist sought guidance from a renowned fashion design institute, learning the art of transforming her sketches into real, exquisite dresses.

With her newfound knowledge and skills, Tigist boldly opened her own boutique, where she unleashed her creativity and brought her unique designs to life. Fashion, for Tigist, is more than just clothing; it's a powerful language through which she defines her identity. Her designs exude confidence and boldness, reflecting her personal ethos.

Boasting over six years of experience in the fashion industry, Tigist has had the privilege of designing for numerous celebrities and various programs. She remains committed to her craft and serves as the Creative Director of HALA'S DESIGN, where she continues to make her mark in the world of fashion, crafting garments that empower and inspire.
